The Tintern Romney stud has a very strong flock of 1500.  Attached to the Tintern educational system, Tintern was initially called Tinternwood and established in 1986.

The Tintern stud has benefited enormously from generous donations of sheep and semen.  This has created numerous learning opportunities for Tintern students.  More recently their success has generated interest amongst breeders not only in Australia, but overseas.

Tintern takes a sustainable approach to managing their flock. Being part of the education system, the team is technically savvy and happy to get emails or phone calls about their flock and wool.  They are also happy to have visitors to their flock if you phone ahead.

Their fleece are available if you call or email.  Maybe you can even acquire an award winner!
